Monday
The end of our first day at Great Wood Camp - and everyone seems to have had a fun time indeed. Once we managed to get the luggage compartment of our coach closed, a short trip to the Quantocks down some very small lanes led us to our home for the week. After a very welcome picnic lunch we all found our new cabins which (according to Joseph) made it feel like we were in Canada! Duck racing and dam building were the main activities of the afternoon, culminating in some extra points being gained through sitting right in the stream. AFter dinner, we enjoyed a night walk through the wood and some awesome hill rolling before a late night snack and bed in the twilight. I think everyone is shattered - fingers crossed for a quiet night!
