Parent Board
Parent Board is a group of parents and carers with children at West Monkton School who come together six times a year to meet with an agenda based around school development. In previous years Parent Board have given feedback on school policies. Members have been able to raise concerns and show appreciation from groups of parents. Parent Board meetings are attending by myself, as coordinating teacher, as many members as possible and a member of the school’s senior management team. Meetings have an agenda and minutes are taken, these are shared here on our website page.
We also have our Parent Board notice boards are up by the KS1 and KS2 gates for more information.
If you have previous been a member and wish to continue or a new member who would like to know more, please send an email to parentboard@wm.oak.education to be added to a Parent Board mailing list. In short the commitment is sharing your email address to receive messages and attend as many of the six annual meetings as possible.
